A DAY IN THE LIFE OF TINKERBELL
A typical day in my life is very hectic, there just simply isn't enough
time to cram everything in! So I usually get up at dawn and start by
trying to get Mum Dad and Minnie out of bed. I don't wake Ethel because she
doesn't do early mornings. The birds are usually up with me and I need
to keep an eye on what their upto from the window. The rest of the morning
is a mad rush chasing flies, bees, birds, toys, Minnie, Mum, Dad, and Ethel.
All at the same time as climbing doorframes, pergolas, trees, the
conservatory and also visiting the neighbours.
I try to keep Mum and Dad up to date with all thats going on.
Afternoons ar just as hectic as mornings. I try to have a few power naps
during the day to keep myself at peak performance. There's yet more chasing
and climbing to do. I can't climb as high as Minnie, but she climbs so slowly!
I can climb 20 things in the time it takes her to climb one. Throughout the day
I also have keep checking the litter tray, It keeps getting cleaned, I have to
make sure its used and that the cat litter is spread evenly on the floor as
well as in the tray.
There's still so much to do in the evening. I stop to eat my tuna when
Mum or Dad put it out. They serve it far too slowly. Minnie and Ethel sit and
wait on the floor, but I wait on the worktop to save time and to prod Mum or Dad
into serving quicker. In fact I don't agree with dishing it out into bowls at
all. If it was up to me I'd eat out of the tin, it saves time when theres so
much else to do!
At night I like to practice chasing for the next day I have a selection of
paper balls I hide around the house. If I take one to Mum or Dad they throw
it so I can chase it, they are a bit slow again though I have to shout at them
to hurry them up. By about 11pm I'm usually exhausted and try and get a
well earned sleep. I sometimes wake up in the middle of of the night excited
about the next day. I usually wake Mum and Dad up to tell them, but they never
seem very interested so I have try and go back to sleep until the birds get up.
